Shades pour from the rift on the left and march to the Prism on the right. Each one that touches it cracks its integrity.
The field is open ground — you shape the path. Stone blocks are cheap: use them to weave a long, winding maze, then line it with gems. You can never fully seal the path.
Gems are earned, not bought — new ones arrive in your pouch after every wave. Gold pays for stones and for unlimited tier upgrades.
Fuse two or three gems at the Forge (G) into rare hybrids and legendaries — Ruby + Sapphire makes Alexandrite; Ruby + Sapphire + Emerald makes Diamond. Fusing placed gems keeps their highest tier, and consumed gems leave stone behind, so your maze holds. Merge two identical gems for +2 tiers.
Every gem branches at Tier 3 into one of two masteries that echo its lineage. Every 3 waves the Prism resonates: pick 1 of 3 permanent global upgrades. Bosses drop a choice of hybrid gem. The sidebar previews your next 5 gem grants — plan your fusions.
The Torrent is the idle mode: no waves, just a ceaseless stream and a rising threat level. Rewards queue at the left edge as glowing sigils — claim them when you have a moment (hoard more than 3 and the oldest turns to gold). The Prism regenerates 1 integrity every ~40s.
Scoring: shades slain early in their march are worth up to ×3 score. Long mazes are safe — early kills win leaderboards. Choose your balance.
